The operations of the Industrial Chemicals division include an extensive inventory management system that ensures the availability of stocks based on pre-forecasted customer requirements. An R&D laboratory established in 2007 carries out quality assurance tests that enable us to ensure that all our chemicals meet specified quality criteria and international and national standards.

We import a range of dyes to match and meet a myriad of colour requirements. Used widely across Sri Lanka's Garment Industry, we also supply to companies engaging in traditional textile art forms such as batik and natural colour dyed product manufacturers.
At Devi Trading we endeavour to transcend the customary role of supplier to one of manufacturing partner by going beyond the mere supplier role. We play the role of an adviser/expert to customers through the provision of advice and assistance pertaining to the correct and effective utilization of dye. Our Quality Assurance Laboratory conducts QA processes on all dyes to ensure shade quality requirements are met. It also works closely with customers to achieve a 100% match to their required colour palette.
We are sole agents in Sri Lanka for Sinochem Tianjin, China, the pioneers in the field of dyestuffs and pigments with industry leading brands including "Youhao" dyestuff and TP pigment.

The Agro Foodstuff division directly sources from farmer communities across the world. By doing so we are assured that the best of their produce is reserved for our direct purchase. We import food and pulse products including Garlic, Onions, Red split Lentils, Yellow Split Lentils, Fennel seeds, Methi seeds, Cummin seeds, Sago, Ginger, Corriander and Barley. We also work directly with orchards in the United States, Australia, New Zealand and China to source a variety of fruit for the Sri Lankan consumer and the hospitality industry.
Four self-styled, fully owned sales outlets act as the centre of domestic trade within Sri Lanka.
